How many movies can they NOT make.

Yes. Every right to every video game out there is being bought. They throw these movies into pre production and then they sit in limbo for years and rumors start and then our gamer hopes fade as these movies never come to fruition. Another one announced for Bathesda's Oblivion http://www.gamespot.com/news/6275492.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B0 Halo. Mass Effect. Oblivion. What avid gamer hasn't thought of themselves somewhere in a movie cutting everyone down and helping save the day. But due to horrible casting, no Matthew Fox as Commander Shepard that's just insulting, and horrible rewrites of gameplay scripts, why don't you just hire the writers from the games, we have been disappointed again and again. So I send out a rally cry to all you gamers out there to tell them what we want and that we want it well done. Just because it has a big budget doesn't mean that it's good.
I found that I was suprised at the large number of guy gamers that came up to me at PAX and said "You look just like my Shepard in the game." It looks like there are a fair amount of male gamers out there who don't choose to play the white male default Shepard. There is something about Jennifer Hale's voice acting combined with the male default movements on a FemShep that make her so appealing to many. And she doesn't look like the typical big boobed cosplay female either. Men love a strong female lead in games as well. You hear that studios? Get on the bus. And stop trying to think you know what gamers want when you don't actually even play the games.
Give us another Ellen Ripley, Buffy, Xena or someone that we want to watch on screen. And quit putting all our movie into some production limbo. We will all grow old and give up before it seems that you will get done. Strike while the iron is hot. And some good girl on girl action wouldn't be opposed either.

Welcome All

For those of you just joining the Mass Effect Me bandwagon I'm going to give you the rundown on who I am and what this is all about. I am an actress and an avid gamer. I've been gaming forever and acting just as long. This whole web site/ Facebook page/ Twitter account is dedicated to try and get the attention of Bioware and Legendary Pictures to try and get support to get me cast in a part in the upcoming Mass Effect movie. With your help and assistance I know that we can make this dream come true. What's better than a rabid fan of the game actually being able to be in a movie about it. I know you all don't want to see people get cast that don't even know who Commander Shepard is or could care less about headshotting Geth with sniper rifles. So get on board and lets let everyone know what is going on. The more pople we can get, the bigger it will become and then someone will take notice. BTW I am good at what I do. Be that pwning people in game or reporting to Captain Anderson of the Alliance on film. thanks all and don't forget to hop over to Facebook and like the page there. This party is just getting started and it's going to be exciting.

PAX!!!!!!

So just got done with day two of PAX. The crew from Crabcat had a brilliant panel. They even had the Krogan head to show off and can I just say funny? They are great. It was so good to finally be able to meet them all. Spent a lot of time at the Bioware booth. These guys are amazing. Talented and sweet. And they managed to make me not hate Dragon Age anymore. Seriously. I am going to get this game and I have a feeling enjoy it as much as Mass Effect. All the changes have been slick and made me not want to stop playing. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game at PAX, and my favorite booth. And if you don't buy this game I might just have to hunt you down and shoot you in the face like the geth.
So many pictures. So many amazing people there to touch base with and meet. Thanks to all of you who came up and got pics and were so positive about the costume. Just to let you know it went over like ganbusters. Dare I say the whole experience was totally sick. I loved it. I do love this game. If anyone wants to friend me on facebook feel free. This journey is just getting started. I'll take it!

PAX IS HERE

PAX is here everyone. The costume is done. I am ready to go. Ok maybe not really. This is huge. This is it. This is the make or break time for me. If I can't get their attention there then I guess I'm going to have to find another way. But it is going to happen. What a long jouney it has been to this point. And there is such a long way to go to get into this movie. But I am ready. Are they ready to deal with someone like me? Probably not but no one ever is. I'm going to blow them all away. So if you are going if you are there. Say hi. And lets get them to pay attention shall we? I never forget the help I get. So thank you to all of you that have. Let's go.
